What is the cost of bottled water per litre versus the cost of Masterpiece Ionized water per litre?

How does Ionized Water taste compare with conventional water?
A common remark regarding the taste of Ionized Water is that it tastes smoother than conventional water. This is because of the molecule cluster size and shape being smaller and regular shaped, it feels smooth. Ionized water does not fill you up and bloat you the way conventional water would, if you drink a lot of it at once.

How Long does Ionized Water stay Ionized?
The Antioxidant (hydroxyl ions) will last approximately 18-24 hours.

How should I start drinking it?

At any sink in the house or at work. The unit comes with a tap diverter that fits onto a single tap on any standard sink. The unit requires a 220V power point.

Where are Water Ionizers currently manufactured?
Water Ionizers are manufactured in two countries, Japan and Korea. None are known to be currently manufactured in the United States or United Kingdom

How long have Water Ionizers been on the market?
Water Ionizers have been available in the orient for over forty years and in the United States for about 10 years. They were popularised in Japan and became somewhat common there round about the mid 1980's. Several Japanese models in recent years from Japan are no longer being manufactured, as they can sometimes be costly. Water Ionizers have been imported from Korea since the early 1990's, into America primarily from Jupiter International which are leaders in Korea. Do all Water Ionizer have a Calcium Port and what is its function?
Some Water Ionizers such as the Mavello Water Ionizer come with a port / compartment where calcium, magnesium and other minerals can be added. This boosts the intensity of the Ionized Water.
Once minerals have been ionized they are assimilated into the body more easily. The more minerals that are in the source water used to produce the Ionized Water, the stronger it will be. This is why Ionized Water CANNOT be made from Distilled, Purified or Reverse Osmosis.

Does it matter what the electrodes on a Water Ionizer are composed of?
The electrodes are one of the most important components of a Water Ionizer. It is sometimes suggested that there are units on the market that have stainless steel electrodes and this simply is not the case.
All Water Ionizers currently manufactured have titanium electrodes with platinum tips, which is one of the highest costs of manufacture of a Water Ionizer.

Do all Water Ionizers have a carbon filter and why do some Carbon Filters have silver impregnation?
All continuous flow Home Water Ionisers on the market have a carbon filter. The Masterpiece Water Ioniser comes with a silver impregnated carbon filter. The carbon in the Masterpiece filter is silver impregnated in order to retard bacterial growth. The silver that is impregnated in the carbon will NOT leach into the water. Every major manufacturer of carbon filters in the US & UK produces carbon filters with silver impregnation There are no Water Ionisers currently manufactured that use arsenic in their filters as has been suggested.
